Indiana E-Learning Academy, formerly Indiana Web Academy, is a program of the Indiana Department of Education. We are dedicated to assisting schools in their effective use of technology to the benefit of their students. Our mission is to empower the students and educators in the state of Indiana to integrate technology and the Internet with education. Indiana E-Learning Academy will help place Indiana in a group of states that is rapidly moving to implement technology programs that increase the education of students in measurable ways.

Carnahan, Meri
Technology Consultant
Meri is a graduate of Indiana University, where she received a B.S. in secondary English education and a computer endorsement. After graduation, she spent five years working in two Indianapolis-area middle schools providing technology training and support. She has been with Indiana E-Learning Academy since September of 2000. Meri is responsible for the training program, support of the E-Scholars program, and also offers assistance to the developers in all development projects.

Lintner, Doug
Computer Programmer / Graphic Designer
Doug Lintner is a graduate of Purdue University holding a BS degree in Computer Graphic Technology. His computer graphics technology degree focuses on analysis, design, production and distribution of interactive multimedia, and Web-based tools emphasizing elements in HCI (Human Computer Interface). He has been a member of E-Learning Academy since August 2002. His curriculum vitae in computer graphics includes freelance design work in print, web, and interactive multimedia. Doug's responsibilities include design, development and technical support for E-Learning Academy.

Nguyen, Lien
Systems Architect / Programmer
Lien is a 2003 graduate of the New Media program from the IU School of Informatics with a Masters of Science, graduating with Honors. Her undergraduate degree was in Computer Technology from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis in 2000. In March 2000 she joined Arete Software as lead software developer. In August 2001 she joined E-learning Academy as Systems Architect . Her proficiencies include database design, client–server application development, and multimedia/Internet technology. Lien’s responsibilities include system analysis, design, development, and integration of online educational tools. Her accolades include many personnel and professional achievements that include Best of Breed in 2002 by the Center for Digital Government, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Outstanding Foreign Student and the Indiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Entrepreneurial Spirit award.
